2023 FairEntry Tips
Entry Deadlines:
Tuesday, July 4this the deadline for entries for the following 4-H projects: photography consultation judging, food & nutrition consultation judging, clothing construction & fashion revue, fiber arts, arts & crafts consultation, demonstrations & illustrated talks.
Tuesday, July 11this the deadline for livestock stalls, waivers, insurance and proof of YQCA certification. (4-H & Open Class). Livestock Insurance will be required and purchased through the Extension Office, payable to the “Finney County 4-H Council.” If livestock insurance is declined, a waiver must be signed and turned by entry deadline. A stall map will be created with the information through FairEntry. All exhibitors must complete a livestock waiver with their entry. YQCA certificate will
need to be brought in or emailed on or before July 12th. Without a certificate you can NOT show at the Finney County Fair.
4-H Entry Process:
- 1.Go to the following FairEntry website:https://finney-county.fairentry.com.
2.Youshould see the “2023Finney County Fair” text and logo on the mainpage.
3.Log-in using your 4-HOnline username and password. There will be a separate log-in screen
for users who already have a 4-HOnline profile. (Contact the Finney County Extension Office
if you forgot your password or need help logging in).
4.Once successfully logged in, follow the steps on the screen to make your entries in each
department.
5.If entering in both 4-H & Open Class, you can make all entries once you log-in.
Helpful Hints:
“4-HStatic” includes the following project areas: Cloverbuds, Demos/Talks, Educational Displays, Energy Management, Forestry, Geology, Entomology, Home Environment, Photography, Shooting Sports, Space Tech, Visual Arts & Crafts, and Woodworking.
- Enter only what you will be exhibiting.
Open Class Entry Process:
- Go to the following FairEntry website:https://finney-county.fairentry.com.
2.You should see the “2023Finney County Fair” text and logo on the mainpage.
3.Create a FairEntry profile. All exhibitors are required to enter the mandatory contact
information. This profile can be re-used for future fairs, so please remember to write your
username and password down.
4.Once successfully logged in, follow the steps on the screen to make your entries in each
department.
Helpful Hints:
“Open Class Static” includes the following areas: Educational Displays, Photography, Shop Exhibits, Space Tech,and Woodworking
Pre-entries are NOT required for open class exhibitors, but are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Pre-entries will make the check-in process a lot easier.

Finney County Fair 4-H Judging Schedules
4-H Clothing Construction & Buymanship will have consultation judging on Tuesday, July 11th by appointment.
4-H Demonstrations & Illustrated Talks judging will be Friday, July 14th
All 4-H Static entries will be judged on Monday, July 17th. Schedule is as follows:
- Consultation Judging-Foods, Photography, visual arts 8:00am
- All other judging 1:00pm

Finney County Fair Livestock Premium Auction
We would like to invite you and/or your business to the 2023 4-H/FFA Livestock Premium Auction. It will be held on Saturday, July 22nd. Breakfast will be provided and served at 7:30am, the auction will begin at 8:15am. Come support our 4-H & Livestock Exhibitors!
