TRACTOR SAFETY TRAINING
 
If you are 14 or 15 years older, planning on doing farmwork for someone other than your parent or legal guardian, you must take a Tractor Safety Course according to U.S. Department of Labor Requirements.
Requirements: 14-15 years old (or 13, turning 14 this summer; $10.00 Registration Fee; Bring a Sack Lunch.

FINNEY COUNTY MASTER GARDENERS COMMUNITY GARDEN
 
The primary focus of the Finney County Master Gardeners Community Garden is to increase and expand access to healthy, fresh foods.  Master Gardeners and the Finney County Agriculture Extension Agent, David Coltrain, are willing to provide expertise for gardeners.  We are now accepting Registrations for the Community Garden.   Contact David Coltrain, Ag Agent, at 620-272-3670.
 
1)  A plot fee of $10 for each 10' x 10' plot is required before the plot can be assigned.  This fee will go toward expenses of the community garden (maintenance, community tools, etc.).
 
2)  A clean-up fee deposit of $10 for each plot is required before the plot can be assigned.  The clean-up fee deposit will be returned in the fall after you have removed all of your plants and cleaned your plot. Plots will be assigned by April 25.
 
Two documents you will need are as follows:  Just click on them.
 
Complete and return to the Finney County Extension Office at 501 S 9th Street.
